You want to wish such vitality to all Polish productions. Thanks to the hype for the series, more and more people are discovering not only Andrzej Sapkowski’s books, but also games. And not only the flagship The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, but in fact the latest CD Projekt RED production breaks records that even break the premiere.
We are talking about the number of players – enough to say that Geralt of Rivia managed to enter the top 10 of the most played games in regular reports on Steam. A few days ago, as it was possible to discover with SteamCharts, the game broke its record for the simultaneous number of players – 101,930 more than four years after its premiere. Impressive. Interestingly, in the top100 games on Steam, we will also find the number one in the Extended version – which many of us probably would not expect. To make it more interesting, the increase in interest also applies to the two, but for some reason it’s not like the two games above.
I go through The Witcher 3 myself again, but I don’t count the statistics – I bought the game on GOG. 😉 It is therefore certain that CD Projekt RED has noticed an increase in the number of players playing their productions across all platforms.
